Is it me? Lots of things in the UK have annoyed me over the last 80 years, but the thing that has annoyed me most has been the poor management leading to the closure of Wilko, Debenhams, Woolworths, BHS, C&A, Debenhams, Woolworths, & Littlewoods.

Customs and expected behaviour change over time, and some things that were customary and expected in my youth may be frowned upon today.

The UK government have said Palestine Action risked our security by painting RAF planes. What they actually did, was to expose the lack of security on an RAF airfield.
Those responsible for the lack of security should be punished, and Palestine Action should be thanked.

The moment of death is nothing to fear. No different to loss of consciousness when going to sleep. What we fear, is prolonged untreated pain prior to death. Treat pain effectively and there is no need of an Assisted Dying Bill.

Lots of things have happened in my 78 year lifetime which I never thought I'd see. The end of Apartheid in South Africa, the fall of the Berlin Wall in Germany, the end of the Troubles in Northern Ireland and never did I ever think in my lifetime I'd be rooting for China rather than for the USA.
