Well, that was considerably more touching than I was expecting it to be...

Love that movie...

I'm currently listening to Margaret Atwood reading her memoir 'Book of Lives'...
Had it been read by another it would completely lose authenticity.
I used to enjoy getting comfortable, settling down and immersing myself into a play on Radio 4 a process which fit into this idea of 'reading'.

Crikey... That is PARANOIA made manifest. 😬

Twice as long as half its length please.

String is a very important thing.
Rope is thicker
But string is quicker.

Spike Milligan

(and "yes please", it can go into my string collection)

That's the spirit...

Was listening to earlier as it's vinyl Sunday for us.
Also some Django Reinhardt/Stephanie Grappelli (whilst my bread's was proving).
Love Sunday.

Just watched the 'Hi Ren' video.
Mesmerising and very touching... quite exceptional. Thanks for the heads-up.

Have always been a music-first and I still am but... Tom Waits, Joni Mitchell and Kate Bush are go-to musical poets.

That snout is sooooo long that when I look at Toby's eye his nose is in my peripheral vision. Ridiculously beautiful.

So... 60 years old and still in good nick. Marvellous!

For a Christmas present I bought my partner a vinyl copy of Under Milk Wood (the BBC version with Richard Burton) and as she has hearing issues I also bought her the text.
Lovely to listen to it together.
I don't know this piece... It's wonderful. I will seek out more D Thomas I think.

Well, my 20 footed, raspberry llama skips and jumps like a grasshopper in a frying pan...

One of my old phones (a Samsung I think with a 12mp camera which was a lot of pixels then) continuously took photos of the inside of my pocket... so many that I had to delete them at the end of the day.
All ALMOST completely black and yet all different. I should have saved a few really.

But typical of the rich to accuse the good of wrongdoing... And using Christianity (the right's current playbook) to justify their dystopian behaviour and dreams.
The future hasn't looked this bleak in my 64 years.
If there was a God I would be asking it for help... but, it appears, there isn't.

If this particular government had been around in the 80's and 90's the women protesting at Greenham Common would have been declared terrorists.

There's nothing Judith enjoys more than seeing a royal engulfed in flames.
She's my kind of gal!

I was going down the road to 'cystery'... but, perhaps, not.
February 4, 2026 at 8:06 AM
So having a great time. Wish you were here.

But 🎵🎶 Marina, aqua marina 🎵🎶 was a pretty weird song for the end credits.
And is it just me but doesn't she look a bit like Melania Trump... (and made of wood).
