There's an interesting exhibition on fungi as anarchist co-creators of the world. On display at the @nieuweinstituut.nl in Rotterdam, curated by Anna Tsing and Feifei Zhou.

I recently saw this intriguing film at the Centraal Museum in Utrecht. It shows fishermen who lovingly embrace the fish they catch until the fish run out of oxygen. According to the exhibition text, 'these people live in harmony with nature'. It makes me wonder about the meanings of 'harmony'.

One of the big literary prizes in the Netherlands, Boekenbon Literatuurprijs 2025, has been awarded to Charlotte Van den Broeck for her non-fiction book ‘Een vlam Tasmaanse tijgers’.
