Would you have called the forest game "worrying"? 😉

I'm very confident we're going to win the league. We've got the best first XI and the best squad. But we will drop more points to teams we expect to beat before the end of the season.

Most of Europe is governed by facsists. So....
January 18, 2026 at 7:01 AM
Yes, they've been disastrous as well. The EU is riddled with fascism itself.

Calling out Starmer's disastrous US policy is defending the UK

I'm not sure it was that easy a chance. Close to the goal line and the keeper made himself big.

It makes more sense when you realise that the clubs in the American leagues are not competing against each other, but are produce for sale, like own brand items in a supermarket.

The Leagues are competing against each other, not the clubs

The law is not hard to understand, you've summed it up in two sentences above. The issue is that the law is shit, and only required because of VAR.

Get rid of VAR, and get a better law
January 14, 2026 at 5:55 AM
A 5 minute delay to check a foot being in slightly the wrong place is pathetic. VAR has to go and we can get back to a system that is instant, even if occasionally inaccurate.
January 13, 2026 at 11:04 PM
So?

The law is not the same as justice. The law is wrong.

The 1990 law was justice

Not because of the position of his foot
January 13, 2026 at 10:46 PM
Oooooh his foot was offside 🙄

He really gained an advantage there didn't he?
January 13, 2026 at 10:41 PM
Got to be honest. I can't stand billionaires, especially the children of billionaires. But Josh Kroenke is doing a surprisingly good job.

I don't think he's 'hands off' but he does seem to understand the principle of letting experts do their jobs

Nepo babies are famously good at what they do and never do anything that turns out to be dross
January 11, 2026 at 8:28 AM
Sounds very Iain M Banks. Love it
January 10, 2026 at 10:54 AM
Yes, so why did they give it to Machado?
January 10, 2026 at 10:05 AM
You say that, but look who they did give the prize to this year.
January 10, 2026 at 10:04 AM
I didn't realise they did this. It's a good thing.

Watch much football?

You forget that mild dissent will be tolerated by centrists, as long as it doesn't cause an inconvenience and must absolutely only be expressed in the most polite means available.

The two are linked

He put himself forward and got them out. That's not cowardice. Emery was the coward for putting up with their shit.

And since then we've gone from 8th to top of all the leagues.

He's got issues. But cowardice?
December 20, 2025 at 11:00 PM
He basically sacked our two "star" players not long after joining. Not sure how you can call that cowardice to be honest
December 20, 2025 at 10:54 PM
People misunderstood it so much that it took him over a month to row back on it, but while still implementing policies that the National Front were calling for in the 80s.

Right, yeah, it's the people who are wrong 🙄
