Having fun with the new telescope. It is amazing how easy it is to image deep sky objects from midtown Tucson with this 50mm refractor!
The first image is the Andromeda Galaxy, or M31, and the second, the star cluster M45, widely known as The Pleiades. The last image is of the comet 3I/ATLAS.

I've gotten through most of the learning curve for the Seestar S50 smart telescope. As I collect more data I can start processing these sometimes hours worth of exposures into a final image. I'm learning some new software, Siril, to accomplish this.

Ran over to Saguaro East to get my lifetime pass. Can't stomach the idea of having the shit gibbeon on my pass for the rest of my life so it was imperative to get it before the end of the year.

I decided to get a small smart telelescope, a Seestar S50. My first night using it were infomative, but I'm happy with these three images. They are straight out of camera, with no additional processing. I need to reprocess to remove the line coming from the bright star in the Horsehead Nebula image.
