Being a new-ish transplant to Sydney, I assumed sea air was obviously better than inland, city air. One map surprised me, and if you scroll around you'll definitely be surprised at some of the world hotspots. Note e.g. Oman and everything to the West of it.

Scribbly gum moth

Afternoon ride stop at the beautiful North Head in Sydney. I'm regularly amazed at how many nature reserves and fantastic vistas there are here.

My now very-trusty steed against a "scribbly gum" tree, which has markings not from a human but from a worm. See www.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au/plants-and-a...
An orange Pyga OneTwenty mountain bike leaning against a scribbly gum tree in the Manly Dam reserve in Australia. The tree markings, which look like someone has written with a pen, are from a worm that burrows between the layers of bark. The tree is growing out of flat-ish sandstone rock, very typical of the area.
