Was a scientist, still a skeptic. Experimental winemaker. Nurturer of things green, furry and feathery. Living the Good Life in the foothills of the Southern Alps.
It's a big mistake to think this is exclusively an "American problem". America has a larger-than-normal dose of conservative/religious/bigotry, but all countries are at risk of populism. We need to attack the drivers of this.

To be fair, it's a step up from a golf trophy from the golf club you own or hollow praise from the sycophants you employ.

Power politics is a trait virtually all European leaders have lost. I have laid out that if Europe and especially the largest nations like Germany, France or UK are not military intervening, they all will be eventually sidelined and still be a military target.

You can't argue with people like that, they don't debate, they don't follow a reasonable line of thought to a logical conclusion; they just shout out points they want to make and switch the goalposts constantly. Hence we go from "name the statute" to "we're at war" once the statute is named.

I'd volunteer for brain surgery from a llama before I'd volunteer for a covert mission led by Trump.

let's hope so cause nothing incriminating trump is coming from this DOJ

Because Trump has tried frantically to stop it up to now and there is zero probability that this DOJ/FBI will release anything incriminating Trump.

It's actually quite refreshing to see a MAGA figure admit to being wrong. Controversial position, but maybe we should give her some credit for that?

"It would have been nice..." expresses it rather too gently. His political allies, past and present, are either empty-headed or nasty, rabid, hypocritical opportunists. Greene remains a prime example of both factions.

Sorbo objects to the one sensible thing Trump has said in years.

Once a rat, always a rat, no matter what ship she flees to.

I'm all for ranked choice voting or some other similar form of proportional representation. Until that happens, left-wingers have to stick together and fully back the Democrats. Imperfect though they are, they are the only hope at this moment.
