You know what the one sort of side effect of using the CPAP machine to ameliorate my sleep apnea is? I sometimes catch myself listening to myself breathing. Who does this? Why am I doing it? It's mildly disconcerting. I never used to listen to myself breathe. What am I listening for?

I took this week off work so that I could decompress and try to avoid burnout. So, the fact that it's heading for noon and I'm still sitting naked on the sofa sipping coffee and chatting with friends is a pretty good omen for how this week is going to play out, I think. ☕

I loved this, but the person who posted it had crappy alt text, so I'm re-posting.
A typed table with the heading "I have achieved all my 2025 Goals" followed by a numbered list. Each item has been altered with a ballpoint pen. 1 has been changed from "buy a house" to "buy a houseplant." 2 was originally "run 10 kilometers," but now says "run 0.10 km." 3 Was "get fit" but is now "get fat." 4 has gone from "meditate daily" to "medicate daily." 5 Has been changed from "invest in stocks" to "invest in socks."
