I completely understand, but realistically, we are all just on different levels of the same game.

Not at all, Rick, I'm saying I can't blame the Amazon employees for taking advantage of what they consider to be low rates.

I know what you mean. However, I can understand how each family will do whatever it takes to get ahead. Honestly, it's hard enough for the average person to get by these days, who can blame a person for using the resources they have available.

Very good point. However, when the big ones do happen, Nova Scotia, as an example. The province was completely unprepared to fight the fire. Hundreds of homes lost.

I'm not talking about total greenhouse gas, I'm referring specifically to total C02.

I meant to highlight Canada as a whole. The numbers I had from authoritative sources stated a total carbon sink capacity for Canada around 700–800 Mt CO₂/year, which appeared to offset our reported fossil fuel emissions (570 Mt). Im using data from 2023...

I think this adds credibility to the fact that these issues can and should be dealt with at the municipal level. Municipal safe-guards could have easily been put in place to prevent this. Rent-caps, Zoning to start with.

I'm ok with career politicians. They dedicate themselves to public service. However, Pierre was elected at 25 and did not have enough "Lived experience," so clearly one was the better option to counter Trump.
