you can always know the spring sunset within a few minutes in the Bay Area with this one weird trick:
Jan: add the date to 5PM. today, the 6th, it’s 5:06. on the 20th, 5:20, etc
Feb: add the date to 5:30
Mar: add to 6PM (and 7 after DST).
April: add to 7:30
May: add to 8PM
