Sometimes the Search fails to find Replays. In that case go into ‘Sports’ on HBO Max and slide down to ‘Watch Full Replays. ‘
It’s always in that line, currently after last night’s NHL on TNT games.

As far as DIgital recordings go, they fail sometimes. Drives me nuts on Hulu.
One thing I’ve always done recording *any* live event is to record the show after also, just in case it runs long.
I don’t use YT-TV so unfortunately I can’t be much more help to you there.

HBO Max: Check in Sports section and slide down to “Watch Full Replays”. Last night’s Dynamite is in there.

I would probably create a new email address & set it up that way. Then just give your gift receiver the address & password. Probably the easiest way to go?
