Probably, but its the same abap objects under the hood, not sure if you can hack the same if it is tied to key user or not. But again, all can be solved by creating a RAP BO in ADT.

Im thinking you will need to abandon the key user functionality and go into ADT and code this “for real”, key user is limiting but embedded steampunk allows you to do much more, even in public cloud.

We use EML to update our custom RAP business objects.

Of course you can, embedded steampunk supports you in this.
