I don't expect to get my happy ending. Too many hearts and minds turned against my becoming my authentic self. But I will keep becoming, keep fighting, keep sharing, keep writing. And when they come for me, I'll sink my teeth into their necks and take as many of them with me as I can.

So, I read the book Monday night, and sure enough, yesterday after work I got a call that my mom (who has been in failing health for this whole year) is finally being moved I to hospice care.
Regardless of universal irony, I thought this book was very sincere and I'd recommend it to anyone.
