Traffic is indeed the worst part of the neighborhood. So many cars. Moving and parked. It feels unsafe to drive there. I was more comfortable biking. Faster sometimes too. But it's not for the faint of heart.

Would you be comfortable sending your teenage daughter out alone in that neighborhood?

When I lived on Capitol Hill, I used Pine and Pike a lot. I think they've been improved in recent years. I survived, I learned to be comfortable, and sometimes it was actually pleasant. I-5 is a little easier to get across in the north, but then we have Aurora and Lake City Way.

I don't often go to Columbia City, but when I do, it's by bike, and I use the bike lanes.

Yay Seattle sports ball team.

How about repealing all laws giving the president emergency powers. I no longer trust presidents to identify emergencies.

And Golden Gardens Dr too.

I've been car free for five years, which is how I afford Seattle rents on social security.

Why do e-bikes get a subsidy when even greener 100% human powered bikes don’t get one?

Some of the roads out there have similarly descriptive names. Iaasquah-Fall City Rd.

Presumed liability plus (possibly permanent) loss of driving privileges for drivers found liable in casualty crashes. Put more simply, if you injure someone while driving, we assume you're a bad driver, and it's up to you to prove otherwise. Bad drivers shouldn't be allowed to drive.

My complaint about parking protected bike lanes is that they block sight lines. This makes it hard for drivers to see cyclists, and also makes it hard for cyclists to see drivers. Glad to see SDOT paying some attention to this.

Hawk signals are really confusing, but I trust them more than RRFBs. Either way I'm pretty much depending on the kindness of strangers.

When going through construction zones, they'd be instructed to get out of their cars and push.

I'm 74 in the US, and I've never chosen a specialist. Always went to the one I was referred to. Never saw that as a problem.

I think this every time I ride my bicycle on 8th Ave NW.

My memory of 2020 is of those amazing few months when I could ride my bike on nearly any city street and not have to worry about traffic.

I live in the Tangletown neighborhood east of Green Lake. It's a good place to ride a bicycle, but so many 5-way intersections.

When I took drivers education back in the 1960s, when it was still available for free in the public schools, they taught me that driving is a privilege, not a right.

I'm always a little wary of using planters as bike lane protection. Heavy as they are, they still seem to move about.
