I understand my problem with a lot of d20 stuff is what makes it appealing to most people but there's a lot of undermining serious moments for bits and it drives me nuts even though I know it's a comedy show with comedians first and foremost

A kid I work with was like "people weren't mean to Britney spears in the 2000's" and I had to be like yes they were I was one of those dumbasses it was popular in my friend group!
One of the strangest aspects of aging that they don't warn you about is watching as history gets rewritten right in front of your face and people 20 years younger than you confidently tell you about something you lived through and get it completely wrong.
