Pope’s first apostolic exhortation Dilexi te (“I have loved you”), signed today and slated for release Oct. 9 was a work in progress during the last months of Francis’ pontificate, but Leo has put the finishing touches on it. The letter is destined to be a masterclass on treatment of the poor.
