Ugh this is a big pet peeve of mine! The loudness of any given speaker’s voice doesn’t guarantee that everyone can hear them! 20 years ago my school installed audio enhancement systems in every classroom and it took years to convince all of the teachers to actually utilize it.

Good for you, I still keep my (one) Twitter account but only because there are lots of informative accounts that haven’t yet migrated to another platform. And lots of international accounts that I don’t want to lose connection with.

I also create folders (and sometimes nested folders within them) to file away emails after I’ve read them and taken any needed action. My goal is to really reach “inbox zero” although I rarely do! I don’t like it if I have to scroll down and down to see emails.

I send any emails that have the word “unsubscribe” anywhere in the text to a separate folder that has everything from a mailing list. That way I can still read them when I have the time, but they’re usually not very urgent.
