I thought Simon's Quest did as well, for some reason. Sunsoft had some great soundtracks, so I need to dig those up.

If it's fast enough, you could have the problem (one of several) we had with the main elevator in Prey. You'd jump off of the surface as it was going up, then it would hit you and kill you with "falling" damage.
