It seems like baseball has had a lot more guys making FA decisions based on non monetary reasons. Bumgarner, Trea Turner, I think Corbin Burnes. At least I’ve read they’re leaving some money on the table to live where they want.

You don’t need to convince me the Trump administration is evil. I’ve always loved Canada as a neighbor and a trade partner. I hope you guys understand we’re doing everything we can to fight this madness, including ending relationships with people we thought we knew.

Do you get a commission for your post? Pretty good sales pitch. Me, I’m cynical of every mass produced product, and I truly do not care where it’s made.

Not saying it wasn’t the right decision, just kills me as a Vikings fan living near a lot of Eagles, Steelers and Ravens fans who sometimes don’t realize how good they got it.

Actually Chad I relayed my personal experience with BYD, who to my knowledge is the only Chinese EV maker with global distribution ambitions. And yes as an American, which I sense is the actual problem here, I have had positive experiences with those products whose supply chains source from all over

All I can speak from is my experience with a rental. It’s anecdotal, but having driven a Tesla and been a passenger in a Rivian it was a notable difference.

I get what you’re saying but BYD makes a poor product. A lot of people will buy and end up disappointed, perhaps turning away from EVs entirely. Also the fossil fuel based manufacturing process in China almost does enough to cancel out the environmental benefit.
