we’re marvelling at any week that isn’t taken up with tax returns, chasing unpaid invoices, applying for funding, repairing the dishwasher, taking the dog to the vet etc - or did you leave the gritty bits unspoken?

Well in this case the horse had bolted! But we grew up near there, and we both got a lot from indulging our nostalgia by setting the story in real places we knew. This Slavery was written in Great Harwood so we decided early on to set the graphic novel there
