Almost makes up for the game in 1992 between the two teams. I was in college and stared at the TV in a catatonic state for a good hour after the Bengals won the game by scoring on the final play on 4th and 22. At least that’s how I remember it.

Wasn’t this DP simply a fly out with a runner trying to score from second? For an 8-6-2-2 DP, go back to Aug. 2, 1985 for the Carlton Fisk tag of two Yankees at the plate.

Surprised you didn’t bring up his 46-degree launch angle on his second homer in the game. That one surprised me. I mean, look where the ball is in the photo shortly after contact! Didn’t bother me, though, being a Yankee fan and all! 😁
