***Abolish ICE giveaway raffle***

I’m inspired by the creative ways people are putting your arts and crafts to work to build power across geographies. So I’m gonna try this: a raffle to rehome some gently worn knits.

Dm me abt a donation made THIS WEEK (Monday, 2/2-9) to a mutual aid fund.

A yr ago today, at the prompting of @drbrapp.bsky.social, a group of us gathered in support of NPS employees, the name Denali, & anti-fascism. It was messy & cringe & impromptu. The normies came. (* 🧵 )

& since, bc of convos we’ve had, I’ve felt safer & stronger local connections than I had in yrs

Me to all my AZ friends: visit any time, any season! It’s magical! I have so much to show you!

2025 reading list COMPLETE.

The signs the current owner has up are a surreal combo of “stay away or we’ll call the cops, but call this # to rent our Airbnb!” which has surprisingly good reviews

I guess it’s almost time for my annual “drive to Anchorage in an ice storm hellscape” trip, and this time I’ll be signing books at Title Wave on Saturday with my @porphyrypress.bsky.social pressmate John Messick. Come see us if you can? Send road reports? 😬

And #Fairbanks, if I missed you, I’ll be back at Solstice Bookshop on Saturday with all these other local authors!
