The liberal left, and I included myself are being such idiots at the moment. Example after example of clear racism coming from the top of British politics and we just pat ourselves on the back for identifying hypocrisy. We're not being clever. They know. Unless we fight it head on we lose.

I lived through the ULEZ expansion saga as a resident of Barnet. This is 💯 accurate. People from all over the country with 0 understanding of the local issues & no chance of being effected were queuing up to moan about this terrible thing that was being done to them. It was a joke.

My biggest disappointment in Starmer is not that he's turned out to be a bigot, (I don't believe that he is) it's that he's turned out to be a coward. Every failure of this government can be ascribed to cowardice and quite frankly we deserve better.

20 years ago I lived in a party house. We would throw parties then get angry letters from the council. On a few occasions we had a quiet few months but got angry letters anyway. We always considered these party vouchers. Ukraine should consider this a green light on a drone attack on Putin's house.

People do this with the death penalty all the time and they always miss a critical point. They think they've backed you into a corner by saying some horrific serial killer doesn't deserve to die but when you point out that laws are not made and applied bespoke person to person they glaze over.
