Chef @jonkung.bsky.social dropped a bowl of miso-corn noodle heaven that wrecked my taste buds… and then wrecked the kitchen. 🌽🍜 Holy shit Chef, spectacular broth AND spectacular dishwashing chaos. Worth every slurp, and worth every scrub. 👏🔥

Enjoying this read on Earth Day.

Cool! Looks so similar, albeit on a different scale, to ocean-bottom sand ripples I photographed off the Bahama’s Bank.

Perhaps it’s time to walk away from the sushi bake now.

That blue peeking behind those darker, earthy glaze hues is stunning!

We’ve made the executive decision to leave our holiday lights up indefinitely as a home remedy to add some degree of joy to these very dark days.

I first read The Shipping News by Annie Proulx back in 94 right after publication. I brought it with me to read during stops while driving from Northern Maine to Gros Morne in Newfoundland. While she isn’t Canadian, she still captured the sense of place so beautifully.

Wow! That’s a win!

Gorgeous! Hoping stress has negative calories given how much stress baking I’ve been doing.

Loving everything about this! The shape, the glaze, the little feet, the graceful handle, the gorgeous violet hues!

Beautiful every step of the way…

I’m a huge fan of beautiful glaze drip margins, and this is particularly a stunner!

With this addition to my Heath Ceramics dinnerware, this brings my Heath collection to a whopping 2 pieces. I’m not made of Silicon Valley dollars, so I cherish every piece. A Dessert Bowl in Moonstone from the Heath Coupe Line.

Abandoned thoughts of doom for a few hours today and focused my energy and hope into a new batch of Chef @jonkung.bsky.social’s fragrant chili oil. Loads of Sichuan peppercorns but also used Aleppo chili flakes. So much mala goodness just in time for Lunar New Year!

Stunningly accurate! Such a great hand at color! Would this be sufficient weight for a hat or scarf?

恭喜发财 Happy Year of the Snake! 🐍 Early morning stroll through Chinatown. Stepping on the red firecracker paper represents symbolically stepping on the remnants of the evil spirits that firecrackers were meant to scare away and "stepping into good fortune.”

The glazes here are stunning. Loving the color contrasts and the clay peeking through!
