One of the many absurd, dysfunctional things about American governance is how many little towns have their own police departments, leads to inadequate training and quality of services, poor hiring, and uncoordinated law enforcement.

Reminder it's class issue, not age. Countries that support elderly also support children (except us). Republican cuts in Social Security won't go to poor or kids, but to further tax cuts for rich. And there's no political majority possible if we attack elderly. www.forbes.com/sites/teresa...
