Baby Rixon’s First Sunday Mass

There were a good amount of people of all ages were getting ready to be baptized.

Some converting or accepting faith for the first time.

The priest was saying how amazing it is that they’ve had more people being ready to be baptized.

Are you giving your prospects what they ask for?

Yesterday we packed up the baby Rixon and headed out.

He was an angel the entire drive and inside the first store.

Until we left and he was ready for his bottle.

That’s when the fussiness started.

Positioning is only becoming more important.

Info for information’s sake is diminishing more and more.

You want to be the trusted source of experience & expertise.

Mark Ford’s prediction for 2026 with AI, digital gurus will be highly valued.

Hidden Mindset Gem:

Final Fight by Shane Hunter

I’m going through it again for the new year.

Some of my favorite takeaways are:
• Give yourself permission
• Use time you’d otherwise “waste” going out, watching TV, or whatever into time you use to reflect.

“The Greatest Sales Letter Ever Written”

• Coat of Arms by Gary Halbert
• The Wall Street Journal’s The Story Of Two Men Letter
• They Laughed When I Sat Down
• The End Of America

These are just a few marked as the greatest.

Regardless of which one is truly number one. They’re all good to study.

Copywriting:

• 40% Offer
• 40% List
• 20% Words on the page

The 20% is important, but it’s not going to save a bad offer or an unresponsive list.

At the same time, bad copy can turn off the right buyer.

“So you just paste your link here…”

“If it will load.”

I looked at the rolls recording time.

“It’s frozen… Dang it.”

My computer starts revving like a mustang on the highway.

**a Black Screen **

“Great, whatever I’ll try again later.”

I always read the covers of magazines in the grocery store…

Here’s the bullets on this month’s Readers Digest:

- The Highway Tree Decorator
- A Stranger Saves Christmas
- Our Surprise Hanukkah Baby
- The Best Worst Present Ever

Use this info as you see fit. Maybe it’ll help you write…

One guy created a wildly successful business, launched a new industry, without making his own product.

He discovered the product while traveling in Thailand.

Brought the rights to sell it in the western world.

He didn’t waste time figuring out how to build a factory and manage workers.

You can scrap everything…

You don’t need to waste more time. You don’t need to “smooth” it out more. You don’t need to keep a tight grip on one idea.

The quicker you drop a weak idea, the sooner a better one can show up.

Could AI be blocked in your state?

The President signed an executive order to limit each state creating their own rules for AI and create one federal framework nationwide.

Well looks like a lot of states aren’t so happy about it.

Many governors came out against the executive order.

my first time being a guest on the podcast, Authority Marketing Blueprint…

Is now available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Amazon.

Jon and I talked about:

- How to find ideas for email campaigns.
- Why email campaigns take advantage of events faster.
- And much more…

Picked up burgers from Kewpee’s for lunch.

If you don’t know, it’s an old school style burger joint, they still only take cash…

Anyway, while I was waiting I read an old newspaper article about the restaurant, it featured the original slogan…

This could be the most personal Black Friday offer ever…

I’ll be offering the craziest, maybe the dumbest, offer anyone could do.

But it won’t be a course. Instead, I’ll personally be walking a small group of people ready to upgrade their email campaigns.

And for taking me up on it….

*Learns some basic copywriting & online marketing.*

“I can help all the businesses in my town.”

Ring, ring…

“Hello?”

“Hey my name is ___, I saw you don’t have a website. Is there a reason? I could get you more customers online.”

“No, we had one and it doesn’t make us money.”

If you’re a copywriter:

• Fill out research briefs about yourself.
• Have fun projects for yourself.
• Create offers for yourself.
• Write copy for yourself.

Even if you don’t publish any of it. Experiment writing copy without pressure of being judged. You’ll grow a lot faster.

Some days I feel like Ron...

Going down a rabbit hole of researching obscure companies and websites.

In the show The Chair Company, Ron gives a speech on stage at a company meeting.

After his speech, he goes to sit down on stage when the chair collapses under him.

Unless you’ve got a few billion to blow… Stick to direct response.

Especially, if you’re in ecom clothing…

Nike is preparing to throw 5 billion out the window.

Adidas is apparently going to spend half that next year.

Why?
November 20, 2025 at 2:34 AM
Time spent on studying copy, writing copy or researching your marketing is worth quadruple time spent on other activities.

The old school direct response guys like Gary Halbert and John Carlton called this Operation Moneysuck.

Focus on your strength, what makes you money, delegate the rest.

What’s your prospect’s “Christmas Music?”

“You’re not going to play Christmas music?” My girlfriend Brooke asked me.

“You said you don’t like it.”

“You can play it while we’re putting the Christmas tree up.”

That’s all I needed to hear...

Don’t copy the words in emails or sales letters…

Instead break it down into structures and frameworks.

Do it by blocks and even by sentences.

“This sentence makes a claim, the next sentence gives proof.”

I’ll show you how, join my email list, I’ll be sending out an email tonight with details…

This is an interesting ad…

Their target market must be using Kajabi for communities.

But their not saying they are an alternative…

They’re positioning this ad as a way to grow.

You could do the same…

Instead of trying to replace something your prospects are already using…

Sorry… But AI isn’t going to get magically you hired.

Saw an article on Builtin saying people are putting AI prompts at the end of their resumes…

In white text… Thinking it’s some type of “hack” to bypass AI.

But recruiters can see it and say they wouldn’t hire them.

Nobody cares about big, mainstream companies

They want to hear about the small, tiny company working on a new breakthrough product that could change the world.

And how they can get in on the ground floor.

Why?
