I agree with everyone else here. They know and they only care if it's someone not on their team. If it's a Republican, nothing they do can harm the ultimate goal - to cause misery to their enemies.

When I was young, in the military, and on a really good base team, we got to scrimmage against the US Olympic team prior to the Korean Olympic games. That was when they were college players. They were so much better than us. Even back then, I'd say the answer to your question is zero

I did deployments in several horrific locations and, talking to people there, it's shocking how fast things can go from normal to violating rights, imprisoning opponents, and murdering protesters. I hope I'm wrong. I fear I'm not.

I can't even imagine the number of soldiers who knew about this and facilitated it. Disgusting.

On reading this, it occurs to me that Gaiman could have had an endless supply of WILLING partners for whatever his heart desired, no matter how depraved.
Which means what he really desired was UNWILLING partners.
