That's all part of the healing and recuperation and totally allowed! ☺️

Ach, it's so disappointing to receive wrong info from medical people - our mechanisms for coping are at low ebb. But I do hope things go really well from now on.

PS: I've also had a tight foot cast cut: chap arrived with immense shears to be sent packing by Sister in favour of a vibro-cutter. Phew!

Yes - and the subject of a modern replica is addressed there, visually and audibly.

At every crossroads, she's a sucker for the path named 'Appeal hopefully to tory members in picking senseless, un-winnable arguments with the government for doing things we ourselves would have done'.

Yes, indeed, and never a war against some nation who can and would fight back. Yet.

I know Darwin was wrongly derided mostly for discovering a link between carriage horns sounding unnecessarily and the effect on pedestrian middle fingers, and the reflex urge to show them.

You get a pass on this one! 😂😂

Hallooo, yoohoo! I'm OK ta, and hope you are too! Are you still gymming and stuff? Family OK? It seems to be getting even quieter here so it's lovely to see you about the place, even if it's not you! 😂

If it looks like stuffing, smells like it and tastes like it, then it's stuffing, only with more delicious crunchy bits therein and thereabout (it doesn't matter if cooked integrally or externally)

'No, Internet - I am your father ..... sorry about your arm and RSI ....'

Ah. I'm trying to give them up, myself 🫩

It's all so bloody obvious! Predictable horse-sh*t from the usual brown-nosed suspects. And yes - they should be careful what they wish for.
January 10, 2026 at 11:26 AM
Oh wow! How lovely! None of those here. We do have an owl, though, in one of the trees .... would you like an owl? He's very fit and can keep twit-twooing until quite deep into the early morning from about 9 pm? 🫩

Easier pickings, there, I guess? I'm semi-rural: I expect Manchestoh has gangs of swaggering starlings, in parkas with wings clasped behind their backs 🙃
January 10, 2026 at 11:19 AM
Doves — how lovely! We have four pigeons who practice 'pecking order politics' quite literally 😬 I wonder if, like me, you hardly ever see starlings these days? They were so common, growing up. About once per year, a gang will alight on the green or one tree and the others just flee.

Yes!! I love watching them here, too - we don't get many finches, though. There is a jay who occasionally knocks the feeders around like a light-heavyweight boxer and his punchbag. Sadly, there are also several (owned and fed) cats who stalk and will take the birds and mice: I do wish they wouldn't.

Cheese. Just stoppit now.

I guess he'll be on the same coach out as Fergal Keane 😔

As often the case, Starmer ballet dances all around the obvious thick black line which is The Right Thing To Do. What a milquetoast wanker he really is when shit hits the fan.

Bloody glorious!!!
