Another weekend metric done on the bike. The cooler then normal temps and solid WNW wind added to the challenge of the day.
There were many moments laced with foul language, but the rip back into town once again had me smiling.

Today was my annual mother's day ride to pay my respects at the cemetery. Dad's birthday is a few days after so I take care of both at once.
This is always a tough day in the saddle. The weather is usually cool, the 100km route hilly, and the mood sombre.
But the Blueberry muffin made me smile.

It was a snow day in Hamilton so our grand daughter spent the afternoon. Today's activity with Mimi was baking oatmeal chocolate chip cookies.
