The #SOTU is the ultimate political theater. The rhetoric is the same, the pendulum just swings based on who’s in power. Yet, it still feeds the hyper-partisan seagulls. What’s missed though, is the people that focus on what it means for them. Dems missed it in ‘24. GOP will miss it in ‘26.

The “this is what the American people wanted” argument falls flat when it comes to gutting funding authorized by a Congress that was [checks notes] elected by the American people.
