Have a good weekend too Vincent…I’m sure you have a nice tipple or two lined up😁

Meant to Be would be my favourite track on the album Nick. It definitely improves with repeated listens too.

I saw them perform in Belfast during the Sky Blue tour. Supported by The Felice Brothers…it was some gig 👌

Not sure it is quite as good as that Nick…for me there is a significant enough gap in quality between their best 3 & the others (as much as I like most of the rest).

Probable top 5?

1. Summerteeth
2. YHF
3. Ghost is Born
4. Cousin
5. Ode to Joy

I haven’t listened to Star Wars for some reason 🤷‍♂️

*** ‘momentary break from all things Sigur Ros’ it should have said.

The school boy error of not proofreading a post strikes again 🥴

I enjoyed it Chris. It had the typical Safdie panic-attack, self-sabotaging narrative of both Good Time & Uncut Gems…while maybe not as gripping, it was definitely funnier.

He was obnoxious, and annoying, but it didn’t really matter. I was fully onboard with the escapades & all round craziness😁

Ah Yo La Tengo…what an album😁👌🔥
January 15, 2026 at 8:11 PM
() was the first album I bought by them…I was 22 so to say I had never heard anything like it at that stage in my life is a massive understatement.

RE: ATTA, I’ve only had it a few days but it doesn’t really drop below the level of absolutely beautiful. Reckon it will climb the ranking with ease😊
January 15, 2026 at 8:01 PM
I was obsessed in my early 20s Vincent…I have definitely listened less over the last couple of years while remaining a big fan.

Picked up Atta a few days ago, having never owned or listened to it. Fair to say, my obsession is back with a vengeance. Reminded me just how spectacularly good they are 👌

I’m entirely with you on Valtari Vincent…it stunning from start to finish. Reckon Takk would be just behind but it is splitting hairs really. Their discography is remarkably consistent, can’t fault any album whatsoever.
January 15, 2026 at 7:29 PM
Paint it Green, Pittsburgh & Ghost Garden would be my top 3.

Great list Richie…like Tarik, I have you to thank🙌😊

Near Miss is a masterpiece Tarik…but this & the self-titled ain’t half bad😁

One can only hope NM gets another run.

That will be a brilliant gig Jason.
January 14, 2026 at 8:46 PM
I hadn’t thought about Weeping Willow in that way Richie…but now you mention it, I know exactly what you mean.

Really like Cry of Hosana too…really epic way to finish things off.

It will unquestionably rank really high among their albums for me Richie. Great stuff 👌😊👍

Excellent Paul😊

It’s currently in discussion with my better half😂 cutting down on gig going this year but I would definitely like to
January 13, 2026 at 6:13 PM
Glad you gave it a go Tom…I really like it but maybe not quite for everyone 😊
January 13, 2026 at 6:07 PM
Are you going to see one of Tom Smith’s solo shows Paul?
January 13, 2026 at 3:26 PM
Hope you enjoy them both!
January 13, 2026 at 3:10 PM
Would love to know what you think Tom.
