Setting out about 4 sq meters of carrelage en travertin, the swapping around of individual tiles to get a good mix of shades and patterns has taken several days. Luckily there is enough floor space in the room next door so it can be left out, like a giant jigsaw puzzle.

Ugh, 15cm of snow overnight. I’ll need to shovel a path off the terrace before it get compacted and turns to ice.
