The AC Transit Board named the Zero Emission Program the H. E. Christian "Chris" Peeples Zero Emission Program in recognition of his visionary leadership and advocacy in environmentally sustainable public transportation, especially hydrogen fuel cell technology pioneered at AC Transit.

Last week, we came together to honor the life of longtime AC Transit Director H.E. Christian Peeples. Director Peeples' lasting legacy was commended by State Sen @JesseArreguin, @RepGaramendi, Berkeley Council Member and Sierra Club leader Igor Tregub, and @SupervisorLTam with memorial resolutions.

The City of Berkeley unveiled the Southside Complete Streets project this week. The upgrades include a bus lane on Bancroft, two-way cycle tracks, traffic signal improvements, and various pedestrian crossing improvements.
