Before he died, Matthew Moroun’s father fought the new bridge using every dirty trick he could think of. Totally on brand the son would get Trump to intervene as a last gasp attempt to shut down the new bridge. I just wonder what sort of “gift” Trump will get in return

There was a big ice storm in northern lower Michigan last year. Falling trees destroyed nearly the entire power grid. Some people were without power for a couple of months. Hopefully these folks will fare better

That jives with the increase in my premium (Michigan). I’m also getting whacked with a 14% increase in my deductible (my plan doesn’t have co-insurance…if it did I’m sure that would be going up as well)

My father-in-law grew up in Vermont/upstate New York and claimed that he loved that stuff. I think he just said that to troll everyone. But, on the return voyage of every family trip to Vermont he would buy some

I live in her district. I voted for her in much the same way I would have voted for a potted plant vs. the Republican. She will not be my choice in the Senate primary

We have Hulu +Live TV. The DVR has been a bit frustrating, but overall it’s been fine. My mother has YouTube TV and I like it a bit better than Hulu, but it costs more (last I looked). Also, I get Disney + and ESPN + with our Hulu subscription so that is a bonus

Welcome to the club! A few years ago I bought a gravel bike as a retirement gift to myself. I have also been a mountain biker for 30 years. I have a road bike as well but I don’t ride it anymore.
