🧵4/4 I myself, thought our group's common ground was our politics but I've recently found out that our most dedicated protestors are actually conservatives. Our real commonality is that we all engage in the arts.

If we want to live in a free country, you're also going to need artists to defend it.

🧵3/4 Additionally, I have seen the liberal arts as the best defense against authoritarianism. Our protest group is primarily made up of people who were educators and artists. People who aren't afraid to interact with others and have the confidence to make a statement.

🧵 2/4 At Google, I was the highest paid technician on my team. A creative outlook and approach was valued. I quickly became the Dev lab's POC to communicate between the Ops floor and the Research team. We need STEAM, not STEM.

The city owns about 22 and there are some privately owned ones by Desert Valley Credit Union and Home Depot

It was a chilly day yesterday and I came down with a cold, but so worth it if it meant helping out our neighbors. I hope everyone else is in good health.😷

No need for peanut butter.
