Yeah occasionally I play shit from other big japanese companies (SE, Capcom, Koei Tecmo etc) but even then I feel most of them are either AA or somewhere in between AA and AAA than purely AAA.

Also most JP companies I like are AA anyways sooooooo.

Like the only even remotely AAA adjacent thing I care about is nintendo (and even tthen only ttheir blockbuster titles are AAA imho) and even then the recent ninteendo backlash/cynicism has made me really worn out.

If it wasn't for Fortunes Weave I'd wait eveen longer to buy Switch 2 tbh.

Do I prefer indie and retro stuff over most AAA shit? Yeah. But I don't talk about indie and retro stuff exclusively tto spit on AAA and say this is what gaming "should" be. Most time I just talk about the games I like without bringing up that nintendos selling games for 80 bucks now.
