I've decided to read all of Agatha Christie's books in order this year. So here is the first one.
1 - The Mysterious Affair at Styles (1920): The introduction to Hastings and Poirot is brilliant. Plot twist: Christie. Some issues? Yes. But historical context matters.

My next book is Heated Rivalry, but the next Agatha one is MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS. Fun fact: when my dad went to Turkey, he brought me a Turkish edition of Murder on the Orient express.

I really need some cheering up. This week has been particularly hard with lots of family dramas.... To the point I couldn't even work properly.

I read Hound of Death a long time ago, but I had no recollection of Witness for the Prosecution being one of the stories included here. How marvelous. These little delights make my day.

BL Review: Me and Thee
It was entertaining and sweet most of the time. Too bad the second cp was kicked to the curb. Guess they'll have their own BL. I also thought that it drags a bit at certain episodes. Like most BL... But it was fun. The GMMTheeV ending made me lol.

BL Review: Revenged Love
I'll give this a pass because it's Chinese and it's a bold BL for a Chinese production. The guys don't shy away from kissing. However, the story is all over the place, weirdly edited, and way too long for such a silly love story.

It has a great start, superb photography, very well developed supernatural elements and Thai culture. The couples are also cute and the love scenes are adorable. It just went on for longer than necessary, and I got bored at some episodes. Still a nice watch.

Japanese BL for me is always good even when bad. It's the original BL source. Great yaoi releases. This one wasn't different. The subject was heavier and adult like. It's frustrating and amazingly lacks passion - that's, in fact, the plot.
