it's quite a barrier for getting in contact with people, especially when I'm organising my Team 200 event! I can imagine those who are old enough to legally DM don't feel super comfortable sharing information about themselves with Bluesky or any other social media app.

#OnThisDay 195 years ago the Liverpool & Manchester Railway opened. Often referred to as the first inter-city railway on earth (neither was a city yet!), it was hugely significant as the first railway connecting major towns, double track, signalled, and exclusively steam hauled.
