Stainless steel bottles, if you have them, are really good for this. Do make sure to wrap them so you don't get burned. A screwtop lid where the lid threads *over* the mouth of the bottle is best for no leaks since the metal will expand a bit when hot. I do this when camping all the time.

Been sitting with this since you posted it, because I know exactly which of my ancestors were Southern aristocracy, but I don't know anything about those who might've fought that system.

One of the things about going to a French immersion school as a kid was a lot of my teachers came from places that had been colonized/occupied by France.

None of my teachers were Vietnamese but one of my classmates was.
