Up until a few years ago I rode this excellent bit of rail trail every day or two. I’m convinced that other than the very start/end, this elevation curve shape is ideal for a regular ride with a break in the middle (though if there’s no break then I think a bell-ish curve is better)

My mom lives on Canyon Lake, the reservoir the Guadalupe feeds into. The lake’s water level rose 11 feet in a day, and it’s no pond

This was a “prank” gift from someone. I think it’s violet, but I’ve never looked at the beam directly for obvious reasons. It lights up my whole back yard though and sets things on fire rill quick

Oh shoot we wrote 1 cm but we’re selling this in the US where they don’t use centimeters. Fortunately we can conveniently express this in tenths of an inch, which is definitely how rulers with inches subdivide them!
