Ive been at the center on business the last few days. It’s so depressing. I happened to check the website yesterday morning before the announcement and it was down and I absolutely knew it was because they were changing the name.

There are better Hanukkah stories to tell. It was fine. They had chemistry. The Jewish mother trope made me nuts (even my Bubbe who was born in Russia didn’t use that accent). I’m just annoyed with HM right now.

It was innocuous at best. And why is Hallmark burying the Hanukkah movies in the middle of the night.?

As a Broadway worker it was fun but I truly had to suspend all disbelief- Corey is a great performer. He and Heather did not have chemistry although I like her. 5 Christmas trees in a rehearsal studio auditions on Christmas Eve - no but there were fun moments. He needed to be a more self oriented.

The show has become the equivalent of watching paint dry. my gut is that the “Hearties“ represent a ”faith based“ contingent that HM doesnt want to lose to GAF or UP so they will keep this going as long as possible. my issue with Loughlin is the lack of remorse..but whatever.

The timeline was a little confusing. Thought it was the best movie of the weekend although that’s not saying a lot. In my top 5 at the moment . The extended cut on HM+ had some nice scenes.

There is such a misconception that all the “Hallstars “ know each other. Same in our Broadway community. People always assume I know this or that actor. I’m looking forward to this one.

the Movie opened my freshman year of college. It was a coming of age experience for me in many ways. Especially as a theater major. saw it many times (although I never participated-in the cosplay of it all.
