Someone asked me what I would do, as a utilitarian.
I think the right thing to do is to take the shot. But if it was me, I'd be hesitating and panicky, and I wouldn't take the shot. Another reason why I don't own a gun.

It's like a real life trolley problem. A man with a gun is about to fire at a crowd. You can shoot at the man, but you may hit the people behind him as well. Do you take the shot?

It's like a real life trolley problem. A man with a gun is about to fire at a crowd. You can shoot at the man, but you may hit the people behind him as well. Do you take the shot?
