The L buddies are tough, because once you get past trial 120, they just get one-shot even if they’re level 50 with max skills.
It’s a waste of A-rank materials to get them past level 50, and you can’t use the bond system to get the additional HP/DMG boost, so they’re just kind of cannon fodder.

I make sure to clear all the event rewards each time there’s an event, because the number of skill tickets you get is crazy. Then you level up the M and L buddies’ passives, as it gets you more Good Boy stickers from part-time jobs, which gives you more bells for pulls.
