Catherine O'Hara

March 4, 1954 - January 30, 2026

Rest easy, funny lady. I knew her best from SCTV (watched CBC-TV9 out of Windsor, Ontario) and her work with Christopher Guest on those incredibly funny 'mockumentary' films Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, and A Mighty Wind. 🌹

Bookies was an old supper club located at 870 W. McNichols in Detroit. In March 1978 it began to feature punk rock and new wave bands until 1982. Iggy, The Police, The Damned and countless others played there.

We all have those shows we wish we could've been at. This is one mine...

Leave It to Beaver - 'Wally's Haircomb' S2.E34 (1959)

Ward and June find it hard to convince Wally that his new "fad" hairstyle makes him look ridiculous.

However, it was the Beaver who stole the episode with his version of the 'Jelly Roll'.

A Flock of Mathers...?
