Hot take / unpopular opinion: Damson Idris shouldn't be the new black panther.

This absolutely should be stopped. Less competition is usually not a good thing for consumers.
The Writers Guild of America says the Netflix & Warner Bros merger “must be blocked”

“The world’s largest streaming company swallowing one of its biggest competitors is what antitrust laws were designed to prevent.”

I'm just here to say Huawei did it better 🤷🏽

Considering how Microsoft is primarily moving to services and games more than hardware, I'm not surprised.

After being inundated with all this political news, I want to know what's the word with Captain America? Is it good? #blacksky

People are acting as if #Tiktok offers something that any other app currently available cannot provide. Let it go. We will survive and make room for other apps, much like this one.

China has been hard at work with cyber attacks on the US Telecom companies and now the US Treasury, meanwhile the most I've heard us doing is implementing higher tariffs. Not that I'm advocating for Tariffs, but come on on...we need to do more defensively and offensively.

I have a quite similar issue with Facebook, which forces you to watch videos from Instagram. It basically uses its app with more users to help drive engagement on the others.
Threads apparently has 100 million daily active users. I'm sure this has nothing to do with people clicking on Threads posts from Instagram, where they're conveniently truncated to make people open up Threads and be counted as a daily active user www.theverge.com/2024/12/16/2...
Mark Zuckerberg says Threads has more than 100 million daily active users
It has surpassed 300 million monthly active users, too.

I always thought the notch was hideous on any device. The less intrusive you can be to screen real estate, the better.
A new timeline from research firm Omdia reveals that Apple aims to transition the MacBook Pro from mini-LED to OLED displays as soon as 2026.

As part of this change, Apple reportedly plans to ditch the MacBook Pro’s notch for a hole-punch cutout.

Digital IDs really should be more widely available at this point. Looking forward to the day that physical wallets become optional.

I am begging everyone on BlueSky, can we keep those dumbass 50/50 and $200 date conversations off the Skyline?

Seeing Mark on here let me know a lot about where Bluesky is headed.
Now that I've fled Leon's site for bluer skies, I'm sure I'll be called an #Ex-X, but personally, I'll always consider myself a #TwitterQuitter.

Not sure if it's just me but it seems like Bluesky is moving a little sluggish today...
