I was in your shoes a long time ago and I kept redrawing and redrawing, always feeling like it wasn’t good enough. I had to learn that done is better than perfect! It was a long lesson 😅

I'm at the beginnings of a comic where I've been channeling my despair lol. Not quite ready to share pages yet, but I'm happy with the progress! 200 pages thumbed, working on art now
Difficulties- working in between commissions, surprise surgery this year that took some time!

Arist: "Can you draw me?"

"I have an idea for a children's book..."

Sorry to jump in on your conversation but I want to chime in and agree with you. Every time my British husband and I sit down to plan our return it feels like they move the goal posts further back. How can we properly plan to settle if we don’t even know what next year will look like let alone 10..

There are multiple things I do haha.
1.Look at my older work. See how far I’ve come.
2.Look at early issues of popular comics. Sometimes the art really isn’t accurate and all over the place but it still works!
3.Know that what I’m doing is at least done by my own hand.
4.Better done than perfect
