introducing THE MAIDEN 📚🕊️ from my comic for this year’s @shortboxcomicsfair.bsky.social

The maiden is a nameless survivor wandering the ruins of the earth in search of many things: food and water to survive, meaning to have a reason to go on, and perhaps something nameless, something beyond words.

It’s a contemplative and somber fantasy story, inspired by the ‘death and the maiden’ motif and many other things, that I wanted to write as a meditation on grief and desolation.
I’ll be sharing more sample pages, posters, and talking more about what inspired my comic as the fair comes closer!!
