Hello! My dog Gabby and I were guest instructors today for a Novel Ecosystems field course. Gabby dug a soil pit while I covered basics of plant identification and diversity sampling. We discussed 'plant blindness' and nibbled on leaves of Atriplex and grains of Cenchrus. All in all, a good day.

Hello! My dog Gabby and I were guest instructors today for a Novel Ecosystems field course. Gabby dug a soil pit while I covered basics of plant identification and diversity sampling. We discussed 'plant blindness' and nibbled on leaves of Atriplex and grains of Cenchrus. All in all, a good day.
