The SATA SSD in my Lenovo Mini PC repeatedly causes IO hangs. It is a Crucial BX500, which apparently has no DRAM cache. Finding a reasonably priced SATA SSD with good write performance is difficult. After much consideration, I decided on a Samsung Evo because I know it has good write performance.

These are handy, but I was referring to more specific configurations, such as WebSockets or security headers. My biggest problem is that many reverse proxy solutions do not pass through the .well-known path, which causes problems when a container wants to use its own Let's Encrypt certificates.

So far, I think reverse proxies have given me the most headaches

That sounds like something I'd do—I always have to make a conscious effort in similar games not to stick with the same build every time and to resist the urge to do every side quest that comes along instead of following the main quest.

My first thought would be to print a container for tools and a hiding place for an AirTag.

Someone from Bondtech was in the chat during the latest @3dmusketeers.bsky.social podcast and dropped a few interesting bits of information. The video was shot with the INDX mounted on a 350 Voron 2.4 and the system is apparently firmware agnostic.

Since xtool is involved, I would bet on it.

Even without the laser module, the design of the printer screams patent lawsuits. I recognize many technologies that have been patented by other companies.

That would be a great topic for a co-stream with @craftcomputing.bsky.social 😁

Add a CNC module and you have a Snapmaker

I can think of another use for the Liquid Applicator other than applying a release layer. A resin mixed with a hardener that is injected into the infill part of a print. It could make the part stronger and add a bit of weight. @jantec.bsky.social showed something similar in one of his recent videos.

A 🔥 printer ? Is it the successor to the Anet A8 ? 😜

This is a pretty typical move from Bambu Lab. They always try to control the narrative. Every time someone criticises them, they try to spin it as if they are the victim and the others are spreading baseless accusations.

This not only limits access from other slicers. Accessories such as the Panda Touch are also affected. Octo Everywhere will probably no longer work either.

I agree. Even if you assume that the review itself is not paid for, you still have the affiliate links that give a financial incentive for a good review and the personal bias also is a factor.

Unless they are dressed in the colours of a team. Then they are probably on their way to a soccer match.

That must be a cultural thing. When I see something like that, I tend to think they're on a pub crawl.

Because there exists a false image of 3D printers in the minds of the public. This is partly due to movies and shows that show fully functional weapons coming straight out of a 3D printer.

Everytime I see a AMS Lite I see the head of a battle droid from Star Wars

Well, Stratasys says it was their idea. US Patent No. 11,167,464 is part of their lawsuit against Bambu Lab.

By the way, Anycubic also uses RFID tags in their ACE Pro.

I bet many think of Bambu Lab as a small startup with a handful of employees who funded their business through the Kickstarter campaign.

I guess that's why a lot of printers will either end up on the scrap yard or gathering dust in a corner somewhere. As is the case with many trend products. Who doesn't have kitchen appliances at home that are gathering dust in a corner somewhere?
