If everyone sells their Teslas, the prices will tank. Potential new car buyers will face massive depreciation. I can understand why you would want to convince yourself otherwise but if you're driving a Tesla you are supporting Musk.

Can anyone tell me what the capital risk is here? Even if the thing burns down it will be insured (I'm assuming). If the wind doesn't blow as much then the dividends will be lower, I get that. What would cause you not to get your original investment back?
